The short version. Jeolmi is free and has no account. Your data stays on your iPhone. In 1.0, Jelly and items can’t be bought or exchanged, and they have no cash value. The seal and its art belong to Studio Jinno.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between Studio Jinno (“we”) and you when you use the Jeolmi iPhone app (“the app”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “The app” means Jeolmi as distributed on the App Store, including its widgets and Live Activity.
- “You” means anyone who uses the app under these terms.
- “Virtual items” means Jelly, outfits, desk items, body colors, props and anything else that exists only inside the app.
Article 3 (Agreement)
We publish these terms on this website. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app and delete it.
Article 4 (The service)
The app provides:
- A focus timer (count up or countdown) and a to-do list (check-offs and timed tasks, today, tomorrow, weekday routines, subjects)
- A seal that holds a paper prop matched to your task, on the desk screen, in a Lock Screen Live Activity and in the Dynamic Island
- Grapes that ink for every real 25 minutes of focus, stats, days showed up and D-days
- A closet and desk you decorate with Jelly, share cards and widgets
Article 5 (Using the app)
- The app is free and needs no account. Version 1.0 has no in-app purchases.
- The app runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. iPad and other devices aren’t supported.
- The app’s features work without an internet connection.
Article 6 (Your content)
- What you type into the app, such as tasks, D-days and the seal’s name (“your content”), is yours.
- Your content is stored only on your iPhone. We don’t receive, view or review it.
- We have no copy, so we can’t restore lost data. Your records are part of your iPhone’s own backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), so back up your iPhone before changing phones or deleting the app. iPhone backup and restore are provided by Apple, not by us.
- When you send a share card somewhere yourself, you are responsible for what you share.
Article 7 (Virtual items)
- Jelly is earned only inside the app (focusing, finishing tasks, the daily gift). In version 1.0, Jelly and virtual items can’t be bought with money, exchanged for money or anything else, transferred or sold.
- Virtual items have no cash value and can’t be refunded or redeemed.
- Virtual items are stored on your iPhone. If you delete the app, they are gone, unless you restore from an iPhone backup made before you deleted it.
- We may change how Jelly is earned or which items exist in an app update. We won’t take away items you already own.
Article 8 (Things you may not do)
- Copy, distribute or commercially use the app, its art or its character without permission
- Reverse-engineer or modify the app, or get around its technical protections, beyond what the law allows
- Use the app for anything unlawful
Article 9 (Intellectual property)
- The seal character Jeolmi and the app’s art, props, text, sounds, design and software belong to Studio Jinno. Some parts, such as fonts, are used under their own licenses.
- You may freely use the share cards, stickers and clips the app makes for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as posting on your own social accounts.
Article 10 (Not a medical or mental-health service)
- The app is a focus timer and to-do list. It isn’t a medical, mental-health or crisis service, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything.
- The crisis line numbers shown by the safety check (988 in the US and Canada, 109 in Korea, 0120-061-338 in Japan) are information only. The check can miss, and it can occasionally respond when you didn’t mean it.
- If you are in immediate danger, call 911 in the US, 119 or 112 in Korea, or 119 or 110 in Japan.
Article 11 (Changes to the app)
We may change or stop offering features of the app. Where we can, we’ll give notice on this website or in the app. Because the app works without a server, an installed copy and the data on your iPhone keep working even if we stop offering it.
Article 12 (Disclaimer and limitation of liability)
- The app is free and provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it fits a particular purpose or runs without errors.
- To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for loss caused by device failure, iOS changes, deleting the app, or data that wasn’t in your iPhone’s own backup.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that can’t be limited by law.
Article 13 (Apple’s standard EULA)
Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app as downloaded from the App Store. We, not Apple, are responsible for supporting and maintaining the app.
Article 14 (Changes to these terms)
We may update these terms within the limits of the law. We’ll post changes on this website at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days for changes that are less favorable to you. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the app and delete it.
Article 15 (Governing law)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence. Disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
